NISSAN FAIRLADY Z 432 (Chassis Code: PS30) ’69 P006-011

This Fairelady Z 432 was most sporty model in Fearedy Z siriese which released at 1969. The L20 engine was installed in a normal grade, and the S20 engine was installed in Z432. The S20 was the same engine as Skyline 2000 GT-R. The origin of the name was four valves, three carburetors, and twin cams. About 450 Fairlady Z 432 were produced from 69 to 73 years. But, There are few cars which run even now. The high performance of 432 was shown in a race. Z432 won the victory in the race du NIPPON 6hours in 70 and the FUJI 300km in 71. Z432-R which equipped the FPR bonnet, the acrylics window, etc. was also put on the market. Although it was Z432 which established the status as a sports car, it has been hidden by 240Z put on the market in 71. And Z432 ended manufacture in 73.

TOYOTA 2000GT (Chassis Code: MF10) ’69 P012-015

Toyota 2000 GT released at 1969. Toyota 2000GT was exhibited in Tokyo Motor Show from the sale front. In show, the beautiful style of long nose and the short deck attracted attention. The car was developed by cooperation of Toyota and YAMAHA. The 3M engine developed based on M engine of a crown was carried. It was become DOHC by Yamaha, and three SOLEX twin chalk carburetors were put on. The interior was elaborate, too. Yamaha which was making a piano made a dashboard of rosewood using high technology. A minor change was performed in August, 69. The shape of the light and the front grille changed.

MAZDA COSMO SPORTS P016-019

Mazda cosmo sports release at ‘67. It was equipped with the mass production type rotary engine which becomes first in the world. Mazda worked hard to make rotary engine technology of NSU a usable level by car. At first Mazda exhibited a rotary engine by Japan mortor show of 63. Mazda exhibited a prototype car equipped with a rotary engine in 64 and exhibited a Cosmo sport with the shape near the mass production type in 65. After that Mazda began to repeat a test by a ride and sell Cosmo sport in 67. The minor change was performed in 68 and the grill was enlarged. It had changed to a wheel base and engine power too.

HONDA S800 COUPE (Chassis Code: AS800C) ’70 P020-023

Honda made an engine to attach to a bicycle in 47 and released Super Cub in 58. Honda participated in the world GP and became famous afterwards as a motorcycle maker. And the following target was manufacturing a car. Honda is a sale start about the track T360 which carries a 4 cylinders DOHC engine in August, 63. This car was the first automobile products for Honda. Honda S500 of an open body is sold in October. The price was 459,000 yen. S600 was put on the market in March, 64 and S600 coupe of a closed body was born to 65. And S800 of an open body and S800 coupe of a closed body are sold in January in 66. It was the sports car which represents Japan and was also exported to Europe and North America. S800M of a series last model sells it in May in 68. The production was continued until 70.
